This course provides participants with the opportunity to learn more about why we all have implicit bias, the social systems that impact our bias, and explore how our own upbringings shape our views of the world and what is considered “socially acceptable.” Participants will also explore the impact of bias on work places, social work practice, and services, and how each person has power to impact these systems in a meaningful way.
